Adventure World: Pixar Pier
Imagine some gold old days where you can relax on a seashore amusement park. Well, this area looks back on those days with the theme of Pixar movies. Here, you can explore six "neighborhoods" based on Up, Cars, Toy Story, the Incredibles, Inside Out, and Pixar shorts and films. This is a half-circle shaped area where you can have fun in the sun and go far under the stars. Although this area consists of a lot of family rides, there is still room for thrills on the boardwalk for those who want it.
You enter the area from the streets of Venice, walking over a boardwalk that you can either walk over to get to Adventure Outpost or go into Pixar Pier for fun. Seats to see the Adventure World Water Parade are here, along with a snow cone shack called Adorable Snowman Shaved Ice. You can then take a right into the pier, heading into the Up neighborhood. Luxo Jr.'s is a store selling Pixar merchandise and Wilderness Explorers find the main HQ here, where you can meet Russel and Dug themselves and sign up as well. Two rides exist in this area, along with two restaurants and a shop. Dog Force Fliers is a roller coaster similar to Goofy's Sky School, where you fly around on one of Charles Muntz's dog airplanes. On the water's edge is Kevin's Chocolate Stand, where you can buy candy bars, and Up, up, and away, a Jumping Jellyfish-like ride where you fly on seats tied to balloons, going up to Carl Fredrickson's House. Wilderness Explorers Surplus Hut sells Up and Wilderness Explorer-themed merchandise, and that is located near Dog Force Fliers alongside Explorer's Station, a sit-down restaurant and buffet.
Next up is an Inside Out neighborhood, where you are surrounded by walls of memories. Emotional Whirlwind and Garden of Memories Train, which relate to Flik's Fliers and Helmich's Chew Chew Train at the defunct Bug's Land in Disney California Adventure, are the two attractions while you can get candy at Bing Bong's Sweet Shop or hot dogs at Angry Dogs.
The neighborhood beyond that is a Toy Story-themed area. The major attraction is Toy Story Midway Mania, now consisting of some games inspired by the characters of Toy Story 4. The ride exits into Barrel of Monkeys Store, where Toy Story merchandise is sold. Jessie's Critter Carousel is also found in the area along with Senor Buzz Churros.
Following this is an area themed to Pixar shorts and films. Pixar Boardwalk Games offer to have you step right up to play games based off of WALL*E, Onward, A Bug's Life, and more. Pixar Pal-a-round is a Ferris Wheel, the big difference between its California counterpart being the image of the Pixar ball other than Mickey's face. Manticore Quest Supplies is found nearby, and so is Tuck and Roll's Bumper Cars, a clone of its long-gone California version.
Next up is the Incredibles neighborhood, where things get, well, super. Incredibles Dance Party happens around here, where you party to music with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Frozone, and Edna Mode. Jack-Jack's Cookie Num-Nums gives away big cookies while Edna's Fashion and Super Supplies sells Incredibles-themed gifts. The star attraction is the Incredicoaster, which is a longer version of its Disney California Adventure counterpart.
Last but not least is the Cars neighborhood. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Cars Royale are two family rides. Meanwhile, Luigi's Pizza sells Pizza and Stanley's Traders sells Cars-themed merchandise.

What a fun area! I love the Up Up and Away concept. Does that exist elsewhere or is it original? Such a cute idea! The Incredicoaster is probably my favorite rollercoaster, so I love that you made it longer!
ReplyDeleteI came up with the Up Up and Away idea myself.
