Neo World: Wild Island

 


    Imagine a place where you can embrace the wild and see actual animals up close. Well, look no further, because here on Wild Island, you actually can see them up close. That's right, you can have an up-close encounter with the animals of Africa, Asia, and elsewhere.

    When you land from the Skyride, you enter a traditional African village. There are two shops and three restaurants close by. Rafiki's Traders and Safari Souvenirs are Lion King and Safari-themed stores. Pizzafari sells pizza, Zuri's Traditional African sells African food, and Safari Snacks sells snacks. Festival of the Lion King plays in a nearby theater. This sub-area has two more attractions: Kilimanjaro Safaris, a slightly shorter version of Disney's Animal Kingdom's ride, where you ride in a jeep and see actual animals, and Pride Lands Discovery Trails, where you can see African animals on the trails, including gorillas and rhinos.

    There is another area where it's themed to Asia, which lies on the right side of the African area. It features three attractions, three restaurants, and a shop. Rami Jungle Trek allows you to see bats, tigers, and monkeys along a trail. Wings of Flight is a free-flying bird show. Finally, Journey to the Secret Cave is a roller coaster that goes forwards and backwards to find the cave where the lost gem of the gods lies. Kabakur Food Court is a sit-down table-service restaurant, Andapur Ice Cream Truck sells ice cream, and Hungry Tiger offers Barbecue. Lost Cave Confections is the gift shop, which is entered when exiting Journey to the Secret Cave.

    In one smaller sub-area, you can trek on Wild Island Wildlife Trails to see Otters, Alligators, Possums, and more animals.

    This area was really just thrown together at the last possible second. I needed a quick replacement for Neverland, so I quickly came up with this place. It was not easy. I was originally going to have six different areas based off of habitats, but I didn't like that so much. I just decided to keep it simple and have a few sub-areas inspired by Disney's Animal Kingdom's major areas.

Neo World: Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

       Get ready to travel to a Galaxy Far, Far Away on Batuu, a remote spire planet where a secret struggle between the Resistance and the First Order rages. You will enter Black Spire Outpost, a Hyperspace terminal turned scoundrel den, and be immersed in the Galaxy. Here, you shall fight alongside the Resistance and fly the Millennium Falcon, the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.     You enter the area through a small bridge behind the Universe Pavilion in Future City, walking through a tunnel and transporting yourself to Batuu. Up ahead is the Resistance Base, where you can board and escape a star destroyer in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or supply up on Resistance goods at Resistance Supply.     Past that is a market of Black Spire Outpost, where the shops Toydarian Toymaker, a toy store, Creature Stall, a stuffed animal store, Black Spire Outfitters, a clothing store, and the restaurants Kat Saka's Kettle and Ronto Roasters are found....

Adventure World: Adventure Outpost

      Something strange blows here in the desert winds. Here in this 1930s Egyptian expedition site, some strange things are tied to the ancient ruins. Here, you can follow in the footsteps of Indiana Jones and try to figure out what is behind all of this peculiar activity happening in this otherwise normal explorer outpost.     You first walk into the outpost, which consists of old Egyptian buildings dating back to the 1930s. Sallah's Oasis offers food for hungry explorers while Treasures of Egypt sells Egyptian merchandise. Around this marketplace is also where you can sign up for Wilderness Explorers and you can even sign up for a new area-wide experience called Explorations of the Lost Desert Ruins, where you use a bunch of clues to find lost treasure, going on the rides and looking in some of the shops and restaurants to do so.
